Since 2001 the pilot model «HXS 1000 premiere» has been installed in approximately 110 houses. Over 1.5 million hours of operation have been accumulated under real conditions since the test start. At the Hannover fair 2005 Hexis presented the successor, the fuel cell heater «Galileo 1000 N». This system

		replaces the gas boiler of a single-family home and, in addition, produces electrical power,
		works efficiently, with low emissions and virtually silently,
		utilizes the waste heat of the fuel cell to heat rooms and potable water,
		is compact and light because functions and components have been combined and simplified,
		is easy to service and suitable for series production because standard components of the heating industry are employed, and
		combines high-tech with user friendliness.
